A New Chapter
Editor-in-Chief Tamesha Kinloch Carter on the pause, the reflection, and the return — welcoming readers to Volume IV of The Planner Wedding & Lifestyle Magazine.

A New Chapter: Telling the Whole Story
When I launched The PLANNER Wedding and Lifestyle Magazine in 2021, I had a clear vision: to create a resource that would educate, uplift, and celebrate the beauty of love, life, planning, and unforgettable moments.
It was everything I dreamed it could be.
Then in 2024, I made the difficult decision to pause. I stepped back to realign, to rest, and to remember the true purpose behind this publication. It was never just about beautiful events. It was always about people, stories, growth, and the meaningful moments that shape our lives.
Today, in 2026, we return with renewed clarity and expanded purpose.
This is not just a wedding magazine anymore. It is a lifestyle publication for every season of life — celebrations, faith, family, wellness, growth, relationships, and the meaningful moments that shape who we are.
Weddings are still part of our story. But now, we are telling the whole story. We are looking beyond the aisle and into the rhythms of marriage, home, hospitality, faith, entrepreneurship, friendship, legacy, and intentional living.
This relaunch issue, The Logistics of Elegance, is an invitation to slow down and consider what makes a celebration meaningful. It honors the unseen labor behind beautiful moments: the planning, conversations, decisions, stewardship, and care that allow love to be experienced with ease.
Thank you for giving me the space to pause. Thank you for being here for the return. And thank you for growing with us as we step into this next season with grace, faith, and renewed vision.
With love and intentionality,
Tamesha Kinloch Carter
